Main Objectives

Project Overview:

Join our team in an exciting internship focused on enhancing access to retail channels for Home & Korko products by engaging potential partners and developing a targeted sales strategy. Working closely with the division sales manager, you will assist in creating product introduction materials, engaging with housewares rep agencies, and analyzing current product lines to explore private label opportunities. Additionally, you will gain a deeper understanding of retail supply chain management, including packaging, distribution, and regional market expansion.

Main Objectives:

1. Product Development and Market Expansion:

- Collaborate with the division sales manager to create introduction materials for Home & Korko products aimed at expanding market reach.

- Engage with regional housewares representative agencies to select partners and explore private label opportunities.

- Analyze the current retail landscape and develop strategies to improve access to key markets.

2. Retail Supply Chain Management:

- Gain an understanding of retail supply chain operations, including packaging and distribution, to ensure efficient market entry and product availability.

- Work on enhancing operational flow from production to retail, with a focus on streamlining processes for greater market penetration.

Identified Challenge:

While the outlined support activities are crucial for success, there is currently limited knowledge of the retail supply chain, which could hinder timely completion of the tasks. This internship aims to bridge that gap by providing in-depth analysis and strategic support.

Proposed Methodology:

- Develop a comprehensive line card to showcase Home & Korko products.

- Review the current list of representative agencies and identify key target regions for expansion.

- Issue solicitations to potential representatives who align with Amorim’s goals and follow up on expressions of interest.

- Formalize agreements with selected representatives to expand the company’s reach into new retail channels.

Key Expected Outcomes:

- Identification and engagement of representative agencies in major metropolitan regions across the country.

- Enhanced coverage of key retail target markets, ensuring successful product introduction and growth.

- Established relationships with partners who are committed to supporting Amorim’s market expansion goals.

- Academic background: Marketing, coursework in retail and eCommerce, Supply chain management. Technical or Buisness school related fields
