Untreated connections often result in vibration flanking paths, propagating vibration throughout the structure through the bolt to the surrounding area resulting in structural borne noise.

Ease of assembly
Amorim VC collars & washers should be used in any system that requires treatment due to rigid fastener connections such as bolted vibration pads or fan connection assemblies. The 3mm collar wall and 4mm washer thickness are made of VC1047 vibration control elastomer and designed to withstand the presence of oils and fuels to guarantee a long lasting decoupling of the rigid connection under adverse conditions.
