Expect the Unexpected.
Raw materials of natural origin, such as cork which is 100% natural, recyclable and renewable, are an innovative and sustainable option for creating functional goods, with aesthetic concern, that accompany us at home, at work and during leisure time. It is estimated that for every tonne of cork produced, cork oak forests can sequester up to 73 tonnes of CO₂. *
At Amorim Cork Composites, we put our experience and knowledge about cork and the different ways of working it at the service of creativity. We support designers and technical experts from the home, office and leisure goods industry in designing pieces in which cork makes the difference.
Here we research and develop innovative cork-based materials. We do this by applying extrusion, lamination or moulding processes, as well as by combining cork with other raw materials, giving rise to new materials.
This way, by using only cork or composites that combine cork with materials from the circular economy, it is possible to create countless objects that stand out for their natural and unique appearance, while catching the eye as a sustainable and appealing choice.
